BIOGRAPHY                                        Jacquie Palisi
 

TV host, spokesperson, news anchor, voice-over talent, writer and producer....Jacquie Palisi has been in the television industry for nearly 20 years, and has extensive experience in-front and behind the camera. From commercials to live election coverage, Jacquie brings class and professionalism to every job.

Her career began on the runway as a model and doing commercial print work. Her poise and presence soon allowed her numerous opportunities for  voice-over and on-camera work in commercials and industrial films, locally and nationally. Commercial acting eventually let to film work and live public presentations for companies such as Toyota and Coors. She traveled the country as a celebrity spokesperson for Coors and learned the art of public speaking and marketing.

In 1991, she realized her true passion was in the TV industry and received her degree in Broadcast/Journalism. Her career took off quickly and for the next five years she was the host and executive producer of a UPN news-magazine show called "Colorado Profiles". She was honored with the prestigious Emmy Award (1998) for her work on the show, and was nominated again in 1999.  

As a graduate of Columbine High School (Littleton, CO), it was the 1999 tragedy at Columbine that devastated the nation that made Jacquie realize the power of media to get information to the public that could be informative and educational. She decided to fulfill her dream of news reporting, and has stayed true to her journalistic ethics of telling a balanced and accurate story that viewers can relate to and/or learn from.

In 2001, Jacquie made the transition to TV news, working for KACT Aurora 8 Television (government access). She has been the news director and main anchor ever since, and enjoys writing, producing and editing a broad range of stories including local politics, business, education, crime and feature pieces.

Jacquie has received numerous awards for her work in journalism from the National Association of Television Officers and Advisors (NATOA). Her newscast has been awarded 1st place nationally numerous times, and continues to be a model for government television.

Jacquie feels most at home in front of the camera, specifically as a TV host. She has hosted dozens of shows (taped and live) including, Metro Voices, American Bride TV, Asian Film Festival, Colorado & Company and The Pulse, to name a few. She can also been seen on the world wide web hosting numerous web-mercials for a variety of companies.

Jacquie is married and a proud mom of twin boys.
